SUTA Warranties

Our SUTA electric beds offer both a standard and optional extended warranty. These limited warranties provide you with coverage in the unlikely event of specific types of issues with your SUTA lifestyle bed.

Performance Sleep recommends a quality surge protection device for all electric beds, regardless of make or model. Please do not plug an electric bed of any brand directly into the wall, or into a standard power bar which does not have a surge suppression feature.

Consider purchasing a quality surge protector with a rating of 750 joules or higher. Amazon.ca offers a quality surge protector for a reasonable cost.

Process for Obtaining & Receiving Service

  1. Troubleshoot your SUTA bed.
    1. Ensure the remote has fresh batteries.
    2. Unplug the bed from your surge protector (surge protector sold separately), wait one minute and then plug the bed back into your surge protector.
  2. If Step 1 does not solve the problem, contact the local retailer you purchased from. If you purchased directly from Performance Sleep, fill out this contact form.
  3. Once Performance Sleep receives your details and a description of the problem, we will then verify your Warranty eligibility and determine which part(s) need to be replaced, along with any potential associated costs should the problem fall outside of the warranty terms.
  4. We will then arrange a local technician to visit your home to perform the required repairs.

Mattress Sizes

This table lists all common mattress sizes found in Canada, along with a few less common, yet extremely useful sizes including Half Queen (used for split queen adjustable beds) and Queen RV (a shortened queen found in most recreational vehicles).

Twin/Single Extra Long (XL) 38 x 79 ½” 96.5 x 202 cm Also known as “Twin Long”
Double/Full 53 x 74 ½” 134.5 x 189 cm Also known as “Standard”
Queen RV 60 x 74 ½” 152.5 x 189 cm Common in recreational vehicles
Queen 60 x 79 ½” 152.5 x 202 cm
California King (Western King) 72 x 84″ 183 x 213 cm
King (Eastern King) 76 x 79 ½” 193 x 202 cm Standard Canadian & American King

Performance Sleep specializes in high quality electric adjustable beds. The mattress size you would most typically find with a motorized bed would be a Twin XL or Queen. Twin XL (long twin), is a twin mattress with the length of a queen or king. This is an important distinction as with adjustable beds, the higher you raise the head and foot, the shorter the bed effectively becomes.

Other than Twin XL and Queen, many adjustable beds are offered in many of the other common sizes including Twin/Single, Double/Full and California King. Performance Sleep is capable of sourcing any of these sizes. Our authorized retailers are the best resource for mattresses in these sizes.

Bigger is Better

Your mattress size is very important. Bigger really is better when it comes to the appropriate mattress size. This is especially true when sharing your bed with a partner. A larger mattress simply ensures less sleep disruption by keeping sleepers further apart and by distributing movement amongst a more generous surface area.
